Totally back in action

Worked out this morning. Back and biceps, some airbike. Then a Costco run, home to put on a suit. Fundraiser. Then 9 holes of evening golf. Boom!

Travel Days

Monday spent on running intervals again. 8x 7.1mph (60 sec), 90 sec rest. On the road to Dallas. Hoping to get an afternoon workout in at the hotel. 186 pounds. Down 3 pounds from last Thursday/Friday.

Weekend, I can't feel my shoulders

Saturday, Running 60sec intervals at 7.0 mph. 90 sec rest. 8x Sunday, golf tournament at Old Hickory. Very cold, played well. New week beginning and plans for two days in Texas.

First day training

Back in the gym for a tough work out. 4 minutes of interval on the airdyne bicycle was a killer. Seeing spots/ hands shaking. Combined with some light weight circuit training. Could not manage a second set of 20 push-ups!!!!! Drinking only in moderation, 3 drinks max and skipping as many days as possible. Tracking calories as well. A month at home should help and then back to Muay Thai.

Days of moderation

Holding to a three drink pace, not feeling buzzed at all. A good pace. Back to the gym tomorrow. Ten training weeks, goal is to drop below 175 by April 30. Focus on cardio.

2/3/16

189 lbs today, highest in several years. Decision to drastically cut back on diet sodas, eat more vegetables and fruit, avoid sugar. Tomorrow is exploration of a personal training regime. One day a week to keep me on track and a road plan as well. Have to make a decision on whether to return to MT and/or BJJ. 47 is a tough age. Maybe heavy hands and silver sneakers?
